Leadership Academy

The Leadership Academy provides students with the connections and skills that form the foundation of a successful career. Through events and learning opportunities, the program supports students' growth as leaders in engineering, improves graduates' competitiveness for employment, and establishes their future success as early career professionals. We are located in the Leadership Center, in Johnson Hall 219. All engineering students are welcome to study, relax, and collaborate in this open space. Skill building

Students hone their abilities by engaging in learning opportunities designed to strengthen the five pillars of excellence that define a leader in engineering. Members of the Leadership Academy can also join the Grand Challenges Scholars Program, a National Academy of Engineering program  that aims to prepare engineers to collaborate and succeed in a transdisciplinary and global engineering environment.

Mentorship

Individual mentorship from engineering professionals is a key component of many events provided by the program.
